Podcasting

I had never heard of postcasting before until today. I had no idea how it worked or anything. I had a lil bit of trouble getting to understand it but my co-worker helped me out with this exercise and with other ones too. I subscribed to the podcasting of the Bachlorette, since that is one of my favortie shows. This season was the best so far that I have seen, well on the Bachlorette anyway. Also, I love the Bachelor, which will be on soon this fall. I cant wait! Only one more hour and Im done with work! Yay! Then it is off to Kennywood with a few ppl! : )

Firefox

So I never knew there something else to look up things online besides Internet Explorer. That is such a great idea! I do though like Internet Explorer more because Im use to using it. I do believe if I started to use Firefox, I could get use to it and like it. I had a hard time trying to change the appearance, but I was able to change the font bigger, so it was easier for me to read : )

You Tube

I tried to add a you tube video to my post, but I had the worst trouble doing it. I dont know what I am doing wrong. I found the video I wanted and I clicked on the code, copied it to my post, hit preview, and it did not work. It took my awhile to get a pic on my previous post. Im so behind, but Im trying to catch up now.

E-Audio

Ok so Im kinda behind in the 23 things lessons. I had a hard time downloading the audio book. I downloaded overdrive, but it kept telling me to update the software and everytime I tried to, it wouldnt work. I had never used this application before. I am more of a book reader than listening to audio tapes. It is a great source though for people who dont always want to go to the library and borrow an audio book. You just never know what technology will do. It is amazing!

Second Blog

I just got done with the lessons of RSS and Social Bookmarking. That was a tough lession for me. I have never used either one of them and I never knew they existed lol. I had to ask one of my co-workers to help me, since she is familar with it. The first part of the class was easy, but now to me it is more challenging, which is a good thing. I will learn certain things I never knew before. So onto the next lesson.
Also, going to the Pens game tonight! Wahoo! They better win lol! LET'S GO PENS!

1st Time Blogging

This is my first time using blogger. I have never used this site before and I really like it so far. It helped me when Kelly was talking and go through each step. I tend to not always following the directions correctly lol. I have used something like this before. It was an online journal I kept everyday to write down my thoughts and feelings. My one friend introduced me to it and I liked doing it. It helped me to feel better by writing in a journal online. I think that this class will be fun. Since I have been working at the library for almost 9 years really helped me to use the technology and type alot faster. I enjoyed doing the first lesson on what kind of person you are. I tend to learn better when something is show to me, then I can do it. Technology is always changing, so you tend to learn alot about it and new things that are out. I do know alot about Facebook, since I use that more than once a day. Im addicted to it! LOL! Hopefully by the end of the class, I will be able to understand more about like twitter and flickr.
